We all know that gratitude is one of the most powerful ways to attract positive energy in our lives. It boosts our mood instantly. It is a great way to prove ourselves that we know the value of what we have and we are ready for more.
However, I know sometimes it can be hard to find something to be thankful for. Especially when you need them most. While you are going through a hard time. Don’t worry, we’ve got your back for those rainy days!
Here are a few ideas to be thankful for when you think there is nothing to be thankful:
1- A smell to be thankful for, it can be the smell of a freshly baked cookie, or someething that reminds you of home.
2- An invention to be thankful for. As an expat; I am very thankful for smartphones!
3- A colour to be thankful for, like blue to remind you of freedom.
4- A sound to be thankful for, maybe your dogs barking (if you have one!) to remind you that you are not ever as alone as you may think.
6- A flower to be thankful for, maybe rosemary for that calming aroma.
7- A past challenge to be thankful for, without them you would not be this strong and wise today.
8- Be thankful for a friend and call them just to say hi or maybe pop in for a cup of tea.
Don’t overthink what you are thankful for, just remind yourself that you ARE thankful for certain things and the power of your mind will do the rest...
