One of the most courageous things you can do is to get out of the comfort zone; the warm, peaceful place that you know the boundaries, the reasons and the consequences.
It doesn’t matter if it’s good or bad. You KNOW what will happen and it gives you a safe feeling.
To Grow or Not To Grow
Although the comfort zone is a beautiful place, the most important feature is that nothing, including you, can grow in it. If you want to develop as a person, as a good friend, as a partner, as a parent...then the comfort zone is your biggest enemy! Get out of that comfort zone immediately.
How To Walk Away
Let me give you a few small tips to walk you out towards the exit of your comfort zone. Let’s try these small steps during the week. You will enjoy it i promise.
1- Wear your watch on your opposite hand.
2- Find an event outside your usual interests and try it.
3- Listen to a song in a language that you don't know
4- Pick a century and learn something interesting about it.
5- Write down your guilty pleasures
6- Write down your biggest mistake and burn that piece of paper. (ıt is not defining you anymore)
7- Go and explore a new neighbourhood.
