Mind, body and soul are a whole. They all affect each other. We all need a balance in between them. How we treat them, how we nourish them, which parts we grow affect who we are. Who we are determines our life.
I started this journey to understand myself better, to go a little bit further as a ‘good human being’. I searched for new ways to be more healthy, more peaceful and more successful. While moving in that direction, my friends started to share this journey with me. It started with my friends and then their friends and their friend's friends... and I soon realized that I was doing this as a profession.
My coaching style is holistic and all about balance. In life, none of the parts are more or less important. If you are missing the precious family moments because you need to work more or you are missing your responsibilities because you want to ‘enjoy life’ then you can’t talk about a life that is happy, peaceful and aware. If you want to achieve something, go a little bit further, as you need to keep that balance, otherwise the journey will be one step forward & two steps back.
My approach, on the other hand, is unique for everybody. We are not same & we don’t experience and understand the world in the same way. There is no such thing as absolute truth in life. Therefore your coaching should be tailored to YOUR truth, YOUR understanding and YOUR life.
My life journey taught me how to be objective and flexible. I can’t say it was an easy lesson but it was definitely worthwhile. This tough lesson is one of the things that made me a good life coach.
I believe that change starts with you. I experienced and saw that it’s possible to change to be a better person while keeping your true self.
A common mistake that most people think is that coaching is psychological help. Let me explain the difference with a metaphor which us coaches love to use.
Let’s say you are a tennis player and want to improve your game. So who do you ask for help? A tennis coach or a doctor? Or when you have a sports injury who do you go to? A good doctor or the coach that you were training with?
When you want to step up your game in life you can work with a life coach. Not vital but helpful to make the process fast, easy and less complex. When you have a mental issue or serious trauma that holds you back in life, then you need to see a psychiatrist or therapist.
I know that for a lot of people who really need a life coach, it can be seen as a little bit of a luxury. But I believe that life coaching must be affordable for everyone. Because of that, I have lots of different offers and price options.
